THE PRODIGY STORY...
Operating locally in Brantford for over 10 years, Prior Resource Group was purchased by Angelo Pitirri in 2008. Seeing great potential in this well-established local staffing service, Angelo implemented changes including re-branding as Prodigy Personnel. The re-branding and new staffing philosophy were an immediate success; between 2008 and 2011 Prodigy's sales grew six-fold. In 2012 as Prodigy continued its strategic growth, Tamara Pitirri joined the Prodigy Management team and together Angelo & Tamara purchased the Kitchener location of Prior Resource Group, continuing to operate under the Prior brand that had been in Kitchener for over 40 years. In July of 2015 Prodigy opened its third location in Cambridge, Ontario and re-branded the Kitchener PRG office to Prodigy to help facilitate their growth in Southwestern Ontario. With the addition of this third location, Prodigy's internal team had now grown ten-fold from the 2 person team when Angelo first bought Prodigy in 2008. In May of 2016 Prodigy opened their first GTA office in Mississauga, ON. This was a natural growth market for Prodigy, as Angelo had always envisioned Prodigy in the GTA, getting back to his roots in the market where he managed multiple locations for Armor Personnel before purchasing Prodigy. In the Fall of 2017 Prodigy's growth continued, with the addition of an office in Hamilton, ON and a Corporate HQ in the heart of downtown Mississauga.
